Do I need to know exactly what I want before reaching out?
No. "My site is slow and I don't know why" is a perfectly good starting point. Figuring out what you need is part of the job.
Is there a discovery call or consultation fee?
No. The first conversation is free, and you get a quote before any work starts.
Do you work with clients outside the US?
Yes — I work with clients across the US, Canada, and UK. Everything is handled remotely. Time zones aren't an issue for async work; I schedule calls to accommodate yours.
What if I already have a WordPress site built by someone else?
That's most of my work. Whether it's a page builder site, a custom theme, or something a previous developer left incomplete — I go in, assess what you're working with, and take it from there.
How do payments work?
Project work is split into milestones: typically 50% upfront and 50% on completion for smaller projects, with additional checkpoints on larger ones. Monthly services (hosting, the Website Subscription, retainer) bill on a set date each month.
Can I get a website without managing it myself?
Yes. The Hands-Off Website is a monthly subscription where I design, build, host, and maintain everything for $299/mo. You fill out one short form and review the result. Pick "Website Subscription (Hands-Off Website)" in the form above and I'll take it from there.
