The Challenge

What brought this wholesale plant nursery business to me

Wolke Nursery is a family-owned wholesale grower in Sigel, Illinois with a 480-plus plant catalog — but online they were stuck on a templated Hibu "do-it-for-me" site that looked like a generic brochure. Their landscaper customers had no way to browse the full selection or see trade pricing, and the family couldn't update a word of their own content without going back through the vendor. It was dated, slow, and did nothing to reflect the quality of what they actually grow.

The Solution

What we built together

I built a custom WordPress site on my ZenPress base theme and imported their entire 482-plant catalog into WooCommerce. Instead of forcing online checkout — which they specifically didn't want — I set up a wholesale account login that unlocks trade pricing on a call-to-order model, with a product page designed around how landscapers actually buy. Every page is editable by the family through ACF/SCF field groups, and the whole site is tuned for speed, accessibility, and local SEO on hosting I manage directly.
