Jason White builds outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, boulder waterfalls and stonework at homes around Sarasota, Florida. His best sales tool is the work itself: years of one-off projects at real homes. A homeowner about to let a builder on their property for weeks wants three answers before calling: is he real, is his work good, and what happens when I reach out. Most of them are on a phone, comparing two or three builders in one evening, and Jason needed to update a phone number or add a project without calling a developer.
